Recent updates from insurance carriers indicate that certain Medicare Advantage plans will be discontinued in select markets for 2026. This is a nationwide Medicare Advantage change that may affect how your overall health coverage is administered next year — not just your eye care coverage.
We want to assure you that our practice is not dropping any insurance plans.
However, if your current Medicare Advantage plan is being discontinued, you’ll need to select a new plan for 2026 to ensure your coverage continues without interruption.
If you received an Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) letter outlining your 2026 benefits, your plan is continuing and will automatically renew.
If you received a cancellation letter from your insurance company, your current coverage will end on December 31, 2025, and you will need to choose a new plan for 2026.
