Cataracts develop when the lens of the eye becomes clouded, impairing vision. Our cataract surgery involves removing the clouded lens and replacing it with a clear artificial lens, known as an intraocular lens (IOL). This procedure is typically quick, safe, and highly effective in restoring clear vision.
LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) is a popular refractive surgery designed to correct vision issues like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Using a specialized laser, we reshape the cornea to improve the eye’s ability to focus, often eliminating the need for glasses or contact lenses.
Refractive lens exchange (RLE) is a procedure that’s similar to cataract surgery, where the natural lens is replaced with an artificial one. It’s an effective alternative for patients who may not be suitable for LASIK. Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a procedure aimed at correcting droopy eyelids, which can impair vision and make you appear older or tired. This surgery involves removing or repositioning excess tissue around the eyelids, resulting in a more youthful appearance and improved peripheral vision.
