Which Premium Lens Implant is Right for Me?

Which Premium Lens Implant is Right for Me?

During cataract surgery, your cloudy natural lens is removed from your eye and replaced with an artificial lens (also called a premium lens implant). We offer a wide variety of lens implants, each designed to address different needs. The right lens implant for you will depend on your lifestyle, the type of refractive disorder you have, and other factors.

Some of the most popular premium lens implants we offer include:

  • Crystalens® – An FDA-approved accommodating lens that is ideal for people with presbyopia.
  • Restor® – Provides improved vision at near, far, and intermediate distances. 99% of patients can see well enough to drive a car, and 97% of patients can read without the need for bifocals or reading glasses.
  • Toric Lens Implants – Corrects astigmatism, providing patients with stable near, intermediate, and distance vision. We offer three different types of toric lenses: TRULIGN™ Toric IOL, AcrySof® IQ Toric IOL, and the TECNIS® Toric IOL.

After performing a comprehensive eye examination, Dr. Brooks will explain all of your options in detail, helping you decide on the premium lens implant that will provide you with the clearest possible vision after cataract surgery.

If you have further questions about premium lens implants or cataract surgery, please contact Brooks Eye Associates today or call (972) 736-9347 to schedule a consultation with our experienced Dallas cataract surgeon Dr. Brooks. We serve patients throughout Plano, Frisco, and Dallas, Texas.
