Meet Dr. Klein
Dr. J. Tyler Klein, originally from Amarillo, Texas, completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. In 2024, he joined Brooks Eye Associates as a licensed therapeutic optometrist.
Dr. Klein’s externship training was completed at two medically focused practices in Center, Texas, and Dallas, Texas, where he gained valuable experience managing a variety of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. He also frequently conducted contact lens fittings and performed evaluations for dry eye, cataracts, and LASIK.

Dr Klein was refreshing, since he seemed to notice I'm a person with a pair of eyes:-). He was personable enough to make me feel he didn't just view me as eyes needing treatment. He also had ideas of ways to treat the problems I'm working on, that seem to be having an effect, as well as the possible cause, which in itself, is a bit comforting. This makes a patient feel that the doctor is experienced and knowledgeable, but he also includes a bit of empathy, making the interaction a little more of a relationship that can be trusted.
