Meet Dr. Parsha Forouzan – Ophthalmologist
Parsha Forouzan, M.D., M.S., is a Board-Certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, oculoplastic surgery, and blepharoplasty, and other laser eye surgeries. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, graduating as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following the completion of his medical degree, Dr. Forouzan completed an internship in internal medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Forouzan found his passion for reconstructive, aesthetic, and blepharoplasty while he pursued his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He remained at UT Southwestern to complete a one-year oculoplastic fellowship.
When he’s not taking care of his patients, Parsha loves to spend time with his wife and dog, explore new restaurants in Dallas, and travel abroad. Some of his other hobbies include going on road trips, hiking, staying fit at the gym, and playing basketball and other sports. In addition to English, he knows medical Spanish.

Last year, I was referred to Dr. Forouzan for Xanthelasma which had evolved in my late 50s (combination of genetics and cholesterol). This came after a couple of consults with dermatologists and my eye doctor said that Dr. Forouzan was the key specialist to see. As soon as I walk in the door I begin to anticipate meeting with people who remember me and will treat me well while I’m there. Dr. Forouzan is my favorite. He treated me over several months for a pesky CHALAZION and ultimately did a surgical removal under my eye. The injection treatments and the surgery were not painful, thanks to his stellar ocular plastic surgery skills. It barely left a mark, even right after the surgery. They hire well at BrooksEye. Excellent, professional, knowledgeable, absolutely great! Dr. Foruzan talked me through every step and set aside all of my anxieties about surgery, he is amazing! I watched my mother go blind and I was worried I'd go through the same thing. Now, one day after cataract surgery with panoptix, I can see! That says it all! My mom recently visited Brooks Eye Associates where Dr. Forouzan preformed her cataract eye surgery. What an awesome doctor! Everyone on staff, and especially Dr. Forouzan, were kind, knowledgeable, explained each procedure they were about to do, and answered all of my questions. She never felt rushed and she felt they really valued her time because there really weren't any wait times and they saw her in a timely manner.
